I’m a huge fan of your podcast and the thoughts expressed in this particular podcast were great, BUT its effectiveness was diminished by tying them in with Tullian, a man who resigned from the Presbyterian Church after admitting an affair and was fired from another PCA church in Winter Springs, Fla. after disclosure of another extramarital affair. The South Fla. Presbytery of the PCA deposed him and ruled him to be “unfit for Christian ministry.” (per Wikipedia) It seems that despite what he wrote in his book, Tullian feels he needs more than Jesus to have everything. I understand the desire to provide attribution, but I think the same ideas could have been expressed and should have been expressed without reference to Tullian. I certainly wouldn’t buy his book.

King David was guilty of adulterous and murder as the God called and anointed leader of Israel. Does this mean we can no longer use his writings as a means of knowing God? I think not, after all, God included him as the sacred line of our Savior!!
